Description

The Picosecond laser delivers energy so quickly (ten trillionths of a second) that the tiny particles that make up tattoo pigment and ink vibrate and shatter with little heat.

The environment varies depending on the wavelength used. Therefore, it will not burn the surrounding tissue and will not cause discomfort.

The main recommendation of the Picosecond laser is to remove tattoos.

Depending on the wavelength, Picosecond lasers are used to remove tattoos with blue and green pigment, difficult to remove with other types of lasers.

The laser selectively destroys the target pigment without damaging the tissue. This allows fast results, removing the pigment, without damaging the surrounding tissue. This short-duration pulse allows the treatment of smaller particles, unlike nanosecond lasers, they use less energy and achieve a greater thermal effect, so it is safer on any type of skin.

Picosecond lasers have several wavelengths 755nm, 532nm, 1064nm.
